The 35-year-old singer, whose mentor is Sharon Osbourne, attended the Cosmopolitan Women of the Year awards on Thursday evening in a stunning evening dress.
Although she’s had the support of mega stars like Adele and Leona Lewis, it would seem Sam isn’t yet aware of the fame ahead of her and spent the evening taking excited selfies with every celebrity at the party.

Sam’s Twitter feed exploded on Thursday evening with the 35-year old star posting pictures of herself with celebrities such as Little Mix, Sarah Harding and Connor Maynard.
The star was obviously excited to be
at such a star-studded event and accosted nearly every celebrity she came across.
The star’s delight was matched by her overwhelming transformation; she looked worlds away from the dowdy mother-of-two that blew away the judges with a rendition of Beyonce’s Listen.

Showing off a huge transformation since the beginning of the show, the singer looked every inch the pop star as she dripped in jewels.
Speaking to MailOnline, the singer said: ‘I feel a little bit out of place I really do. I'm getting used to the posing and everything, but then as soon as I open my mouth it goes a bit wrong.’
Sam’s maroon dress was embroidered with a ruched pattern which contoured the singer’s curvy body.

Adorned with sequins, her dress wasn’t the only thing sparkling: the X Factor contestant looked bling in a jewel-encrusted bangle, sliver earrings and a gold ring.
With a fresh black manicure and golden sparkly eye shadow Sam looked younger than her 35 years.
Speaking about her performances on Saturday, the star admitted they were songs that meant a lot to her and she’s worried she might cry.

‘Every week I am channelling all my emotions into that one performance which is why I am so hard on myself when I perform, so I literally push everything out in that performance and hopefully it gets me through to the next week. I'm going to give it everything this week.’
She added: ‘Being away from the kids has been really tough. Last week my little girl was in the audience when I was singing and it was an honour.’
